I told you so

So it is Mo's job to take out the trash. Unfortunately sometimes it just doesn't get done often enough desipte my reminders. Here is the aftermath of what happens when you don't empty the diaper pal enough. Disaster strikes.

Let the Good Times Roll

Our friends the Tufts from North Carolina were visiting family in Idaho so we got together with the old clan. We went to Applebees for dinner and what a trip that was. We were almost out numbered by the children. Since our kids didn't come Mo and I were able to have a great dinner. Here's a picture of us we are missing a spouse and a couple of kids (who were busy running around!) Thanks for making time to get together.

Family Reunion Time!

This past week we had a couple of family reunions. First we had the first ever Darrell and Maylene Call family reunion. My parents rented a beautiful cabin in Heber City Utah. We had a great time hiking, singing karoke and playing lots of Wii. While we were there a glass table was accidently broken while trying to put the umbrella in it...Oops Good thing I wasn't the one who broke it. Then after that we had the J Harold Call family reunion ( My dad's siblings and family) in the Heber Valley Camp. It was great seeing cousins I haven't seen for ages. It was lots of fun seeing deer and other animals. While at the reunion we did a challenge course. One of the activities was a huge rope swing. After being pulled high up into the trees you release yourself and fly away. Tanner decided to try it. The first time he only went part way. The second time he went up the whole way (mostly because dad kept pulling him up). He looked terrified but through his big tears sad he wanted to do it again. We were also fortunate to see some friends before we went home. I know most people when they go on vacation don't work but Mo saw Grandma's lawn and just couldn't resists the itch to mow it. If you ever need your lawn mowed he'd love to do it. Unfortunately I didn't take lots of pictures because everyone else did and I am just going to get copies of theirs so here are a few I took.

Brayden's 1st Birthday

It is already Brayden's 1st birthday! Amazing that he is getting so big. He still doesn't walk yet but is a SUPER FAST crawler. He has such a great personality and we're so glad he's part of our family.

Lake Aldous

We went out hiking again on Saturday. This time we hiked up to a Lake. Even though I grew up in Houston I have never seen as many bugs or bugs as big as these ones. On our drive up to our hike we drove through some people herding their cows. It was great. Mo had fun swimming in the water and Brayden was so tired he feel asleep on the hike down the mountain.

4th of July and family pics

We had a great 4th of july. We watched a parade and fireworks of course. We also went to a festival in Menan. Tanner went crazy. He played in the jump houses, went fishing, rode a train and other fun stuff. My favorite activity they had was trout fishing. Anyone could get in this big pool and try to catch a trout. If you caught it you could take it home! My mother in law also took some family pics in the gardens on the BYUI campus. It was so difficult to get little brayden to hold still for a second. We used lots of smarties and licorice for bribes! All in all it was a great weekend!

Brayden's early birthday

We celebrated Brayden's birthday early so that we could celebrate with some family who came to town. There was more icing and cake on everyone then on Brayden. He flung it on everyone. I tried to make his cake a sail boat in case you couldn't tell.
