So ask my family and they might tell you I'm a nerd about couponing. They've heard me say "Oh I have a coupon for that" more times than they would have liked to I'm sure. And I'm pretty sure I'm the only one who gets real excited about all of my great finds. Here is a sample of a few things I've gotten for free on my last shopping trip. 5 bottles of dressing, 2 ketchup bottles, 2 gallons of milk, 6 boxes of granola bars, 10 snickers candy bars, 1 casade action pacs and a dollar off coupon on my next purchase. We have tons more coupons for free chick fil a sandwiches, dominos and pizza hut pizza, frozen yogurts for the whole family. We also took the family out for a buffet dinner last night. You guessed it, I paid $0. One time I got 26 boxes of pasta for free. I was a little nervous my coupons wouldn't work though. Not to mention I didn't want to have to tell the cashier I didn't want this whole conveyor belt full of pasta. Luck was on my side thank goodness. I think my kids think we can only buy something if I have a coupon for it.
Another one of the best things in life are your kids! Though they aren't free they sure can provide good entertainment. I was going through Tanner's folder from school and pulled out this beauty. It is a rocket that he drew a picture of the moon and stars in. And this is what it says. Q: Write a sentence about your picture. A: I never see the faces Q:Tell more about who is in the picture or what is happening. A: The face on the moon never appears. I love the moon. I don't care I just don't care. After I was a little confused and worried I asked him if he didn't want to do the assignment. After a few more questions he responded that he loves the moon but could care less if he saw the faces of the moon. It gave me a good chuckle.
Here are a few more of the best things in life, a family!
