I was inspired by my friend Brittany after seeing her last family photo shoot so I thought it would be fun to do my own photo shoot of the boys. So I drapped some sheets over the edge of my bed and snapped away. When I printed some pictures out at Walmart they asked me for the copyright to the pictures! Needless to say that made me feel pretty good.
This year we thought it would be fun to cut our own Christmas Tree down. Our permit was only 5 bucks so we thought it was a good idea. We went up to the Island Park Area and found "the one". Well actually the boys were both tired of being dragged through the forest so we just pointed to a tree and cut it down. Both kids were happy to be back to the car to play in the snow. After Tanner decided that he wasn't stuck in the snow every time he fell down he had lots of fun.

Halloween Night
Tanner had a lot of fun trick or treating. He kept saying he wanted to go to more houses. He even tried to get seconds from people at our ward trunk or treat! We practiced saying "trick or treat" and when I asked him what to say after that he paused, thought and then replied "more please". What a smart kid. Tanner was Clifford, the Big Red dog. Brayden was all bundled up till we got him and then we put him in his chilli pepper outfit for a few pictures. Our pictures we took outside didn't show up...sorry

The men of the house
Yellowstone National Park
We were able to take a quick trip up to Yellowstone this last Saturday. It was our first time going and we got real lucky. The weather had forecasted a heavy snow warning so we were going to head to Mesa Falls instead. Well we missed our turn off to Mesa Falls so we kept driving up to Yellowstone. It was a gorgeous day to be there. We only saw a few snow flurries! We were able to see Old Faithful blow, a bunch of geysers, and quite a few different animals. Some of the animals were so close that we could have thrown blades of grass out the car window and hit them. Here are some of our pictures. We were also graced with Aunt Celeste's presence on our trip!

Back to Rexburg we will go
We made a quick move back to good ol Rexburg Idaho. Mo started a new job working for the Eastern Idaho Public Health District as an Environmental Health Specialist. He loves his job and for the first time comes home excited to tell me about his day! He is working hard to remember all the information he's being fed. While attending a meeting he sat in a chair that you can raise or lower the chair. The chair he picked just happened to be sitting low. He didn't bother to raise it and a lady walking down the hall saw him. She ran down the hall to ask someone who the new high school kid was! With not much hair left on his head Mo got a great kick out of this!
Tanner has been a big help setting up the entertainment center and unpacking. He found all sorts of ways to use various items he found! He especially likes to play with dad's deodorant.
